The Royal Family

Queen Elizabeth II


The British Royal Family is the group of relatives of the monarch of the United Kingdom

Today, Queen Elizabeth II has the crown. She was born on April 21st, 1926 and she became queen at the age of 26 when her father George VI died. 

The Queen is married to Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh who died last week at the age of 99. They have four children, eight grandchildren and and nine great-grandchildren.

Their children’s names are; Charles, Anne, Andrew and Edward. Queen’s first child is Prince Charles, so when the Queen died, he will ascend to the throne and become the King.

Prince Charles was born in 1948 and he got married to Lady Diana Spencer.  They had two sons; Prince William and Prince Harry. They divorced in 1996 and Lady Diana died in a car crash in 1997. Now he is married to Camilla.

Prince William is married to Catherine Elizabeth Middleton and they have three children: George, Charlotte and Louis.

Recently Prince Harry married Meghan Markle and they are having a girl this summer.
